Most of our products are priced according to mandated minimums set by our manufacturers. Since most of our suppliers are in Europe and the United States, their quoted prices are in euros and US dollars, respectively. We update our prices periodically when there is a significant change in the exchange rate between the US dollar and the Canadian dollar. Also, because our suppliers are in the US and overseas, there are duties applied to the products as they cross the border. These duties need to be added onto the price of the product.

Currency and taxes
Prices on craftscove.ca are listed in Canadian dollars. Import duties on US-sourced products are already reflected in the listed price; applicable sales taxes are calculated separately at checkout, based on the delivery address. Larger purchases can be split into monthly installments through Shop Pay on eligible orders, as described in our Shipping and Payment policy.
Pricing errors
Exchange-rate movements and manufacturer price changes can lead to occasional listing errors. Where an order has been placed at a clearly incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel it and refund the payment in full, as set out in our Terms of Service. We will always contact you before cancelling anything.

Why did a price change since I last checked?
Our suppliers set their minimum prices in US dollars, so when the exchange rate moves significantly, Canadian prices are adjusted to match. Contact us for a price based on the current rate.
Are prices in Canadian dollars?
Yes. All prices on craftscove.ca are listed in Canadian dollars.
Are duties and taxes included in the price?
Import duties are built into the listed price. Sales taxes are not; they are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address.
