Overview
Crafts Cove Marine resells other suppliers' products. This Warranty Policy explains the terms under which the products we sell are covered against defects that develop during normal use within the applicable warranty period. We do not add a separate warranty; coverage comes from each product's manufacturer, and the manufacturer's documentation is the definitive source for current terms. We assist with claims, supply purchase records, and coordinate with the manufacturer or service centre on your behalf.
This warranty is in addition to your rights under applicable consumer protection law, which may entitle you to remedies that cannot be excluded by contract.
If your item arrived damaged or you received the wrong product, that is not a warranty matter. It is handled under our Refund Policy, and freight damage must be reported within 48 hours under our Shipping and Payment policy. Warranty covers faults that develop later in use.
1. Warranty coverage by product
Coverage and duration are set by each manufacturer. The periods below are a guide; the manufacturer's documentation governs in every case. We are glad to help you register a product or track down the right warranty terms – just contact us.

- Repair or replacement of defective parts, at our or the manufacturer's discretion
3. What is not covered

- Damage from saltwater corrosion, UV exposure, or environmental conditions beyond normal use

4. How to make a warranty claim
Warranty covers faults that develop in use. To start a claim:
- Email info@craftscove.ca or call +1 877-815-8536 with your order number, proof of purchase, and photos or video of the defect.
- We review the claim and, where it applies, coordinate with the manufacturer or service centre and confirm the exact process and documents that the brand requires.
- If approved, you may be asked to return the product for inspection or service. Return shipping instructions are provided at that point.
Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
Spade anchor warranty
Spade guarantees your anchor against breakage of any part. If it breaks, they replace it free of charge – as long as:
- It was the correct size for your boat's length and weight
- It wasn't modified, drilled, or repaired
- It wasn't bent, deformed, abused, or misused
- The galvanizing (on steel versions) was kept in good order
- It was used with normal anchoring practice, not forced against an obstacle
To make a claim: contact the manufacturer first to get a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Send the anchor back with the RMA number, your original invoice, and a photo of the damage. You cover shipping both ways.
6-month satisfaction guarantee: not happy with your anchor for any reason? Return it to the manufacturer within six months of purchase, with the original invoice, for a full refund. Shipping isn't covered.
Spade isn't liable for any indirect or consequential damage from the sale or use of the anchor. Holding power relates to surface area (sq cm); listed weight is indicative only.
Torqeedo warranty
If your Torqeedo motor develops a fault, you file the claim through a Torqeedo Service Center (find the list on Torqeedo's website). Submit it properly or the warranty is void – here's what you need:
- A completed warranty certificate (in your instruction manual) with your contact details, the product details, serial number, and a description of the problem
- Proof of purchase showing the product and purchase date
Keep the original Torqeedo packaging for the return – if you don't have it, use packaging that protects against transport damage. Damage in transit isn't covered.
Shipping a LIMA battery? It's classed as a UN9 hazardous item and must be packed and posted under the relevant safety rules. Not sure how? Contact us before sending anything – we handle dangerous-goods shipments regularly and can walk you through it.
5. Remedies
Depending on the issue, remedies may include repair of the product, replacement with the same or an equivalent product, or a refund if repair or replacement is not possible under applicable law.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Crafts Cove Marine and the product manufacturers are not liable for incidental or consequential damages such as loss of use, time, or commercial losses. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless the manufacturer states otherwise.
7. Your consumer rights
This warranty does not limit your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law. Canadian customers are protected by the Consumer Protection Act of their province or territory and applicable federal law. U.S. customers are protected by applicable federal and state consumer protection laws. You may have additional legal rights that vary by where you live.
8. Contact
For any warranty questions, contact info@craftscove.ca or +1 877-815-8536. Always refer to the manufacturer's website for the most current warranty information.
