The Spirit 1.0 Evo is equivalent of a 3-hp gas outboard motor. It provides more than sufficient propulsion for a 10ft tender, dinghy, or RIB. It also works as an auxiliary propulsion for a daysailer of up to 1500kgs. The Spirit 1.0 Evo is compatible with the all new Safety Wristband.
Incredibly Versatile
The Spirit 1.0 Evo provides up to 75mins of run time at full throttle on one battery, and up to 10hrs of runtime at half throttle. Of course, the batteries can be swapped out very easily within a 1 minute.
The Spirit 1.0 Evo is available with a tiller or with a top mount control for remote steering. The tiller easily folds down when connected to the motor for easy transport.
The display offers one button electric start, real-time remaining runtime and operating voltage.
Built-in Hydrogeneration
Spirit 1.0 Evo allows you to charge your battery/batteries while sailing with the all new and revolutionary hydrogeneration function.
Going the Distance
The Spirit 1.0 Evo pushes the limit of range with its high energy efficiency, propeller design, and battery capacity. The 1276Wh Li-Po battery is the largest for a motor in its class and only weighs 8.8kgs. The battery will also float, saving it from an accidental overboard.
A standard portable gas outboard engine (ranging from 2.5HP to 5HP) has a runtime of less than 45 minutes and requires an external fuel tank to extend that runtime. The Spirit 1.0 Evo can more than double that runtime.
Solar Panel Compatible
Connect your Spirit to solar panels to extend your runtime. On a sunny day you could potentially run the whole day at economical speed.
Eco-friendly, Quiet & Maintenance Free
With the Spirit there are no exhaust emissions going into the water, no fuel leaks and less overall carbon emissions. The Spirit’s direct drive electric motor does not require any maintenance as there are very few moving parts. Because of this the Spirit is super quiet as well, peaking at 55dB which is as loud as a normal conversation.
