Products and safe use

Boating carries inherent risk, and the equipment we sell is operated entirely at the user's own risk. Every product must be selected, installed, maintained, and used in accordance with the manufacturer's documentation and with the boating regulations that apply in your waters, including the requirements administered by Transport Canada. Responsibility for the safe operation of a vessel, and for the safety of everyone aboard, rests with the operator at all times.

Content on this site, including product descriptions, sizing guides, and installation notes, is provided for general information. It is not professional advice, and it does not replace the manufacturer's manual or the judgment of a qualified marine technician. Where a product decision affects safety, such as anchor sizing or battery installation, confirm it against the manufacturer's documentation or ask us before purchase.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crafts Cove Marine and its directors, officers, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential, arising from the use or misuse of products purchased through this site, from reliance on content published on this site, or from the operation of any vessel. Manufacturer warranties, where they apply, are described on our Warranty page and remain the responsibility of the respective manufacturer. Nothing in this disclaimer limits the rights available to you under the consumer protection legislation of your province or under applicable federal law.

Governing law

This disclaimer and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the applicable federal laws of Canada, unless otherwise required by the jurisdiction of the customer's residence.
