ePropulsion Pod Drives are direct-drive, and maintenance-free electric motors for sailboats and small watercrafts. Their compact design saves space and maximizes your cabin space. Because of their brushless direct drive technology they make almost no noise.
The ePropulsion Pod Drives are available in 3 sizes;
Pod Drive Evo 1.0 is 1kW (equivalent to a 3HP outboard)
Pod Drive Evo 3.0 is 3kW (equivalent to a 6HP outboard)
Pod Drive Evo 6.0 is 6kW (equivalent to a 9.9HP outboard)
Pod Drive Evo allows you to charge your battery/batteries while sailing with the all new and revolutionary hydrogeneration function.
With the ESeries batteries you can connect up to 16 batteries in parallel to extend your day on the water even longer!
With ePropulsion Pod Drives there are no exhaust emissions going into the water, no fuel leaks and less overall carbon emissions. The Pod’s direct drive electric motor does not require any maintenance as there are very few moving parts. Because of this the Pod is super quiet as well, peaking at 60dB which is as loud as a normal conversation.
There are three controller options to suit your specific need:
Driver module, main switch cable, communication cable (5m), wrench set, warranty card, user manual, fixing guide, invitation card, and quality certificate.
